Rugged-Mic
Rugged-Mic is targeted at environments that require the utmost in environmental and electrical protection. It is available in several different frequency response ranges and two different levels of water resistance. In addition, it
has a factory tunable circuit that allows high level noise limiting and audio range compression. This combination allows it to provide a very wide range of audio input while still maintaining compatibility with many different microphone interfaces.
Rugged-Mic is packaged in a billet aluminum housing with all the internal electronics "potted" in thermally conductive epoxy. The combination of materials produces a product that is extremely resistant to even the most extreme environments.
