Beyond Electronics' VMEbus processor boards are categorized by their cooling method: conduction cooled or convection cooled. The suffix on the board part number distinguishes the board type. For part types ending in a "-A", the boards are convection cooled, sometimes referred to as "Air Cooled". Board suffixes ending in a "-C" are conduction cooled and need no air flow for operation.
